Sports Massage

Sports Massage

Sports people work hard to maintain their fitness and if competitive, to improve their performance. A very important component of their training is active recovery and maintenance. This is where sports massage plays a vital role. Whether you are recovering from an injury, preparing for an event or post event, sports massage is of significant benefit.

You are your Most Important Piece of Sports Equipment!
If your muscles and joints are working efficiently you are better prepared to train and compete effectively.

All our therapists are qualified sports therapists and Neil has a Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from University College Cork (UCC). As well as sports massage we also offer sports people functional movement screening (FMS) which has been proven to reduce the risk of injury by up to 64%. We also offer advice on strength and flexibility programmes. The benefit of this for you is that you can be confident that the care you receive at Sheehan Physiotherapy Clinic is the best available.

If you are a sports person and are serious about your sport give us a call.
